Who counts as a 'user' on PeakScale?
Not all your employees will be 'users' on PeakScale. A 'user' refers to the 'user id" created to log into PeakScale and utilise its functionality.
For example, a small format QSR / retail outlet with 4 staff members and 2 shift managers would probably require just a single 'user id' per outlet, and not 6 'user ids' - one 'user id' that is shared between the 2 shift managers.
As another example, a factory unit might require 'user ids' only for quality auditors, quality managers and production head, and not for all the factory staff.

Sample billing calculation for small format QSR / dark kitchen / cafe / retail outlet
Assume a brand with 10 small format outlets, that has 2 area managers, 1 operations head and 1 CEO.
Total 'user ids' required on PeakScale:
1 user id per outlet for outlet manager
1 user id per area manager
1 user id for operations head
1 user id for CEO
Total Users = 14
Sample billing calculation for large format restaurant / cafe / bar outlet
Assume a brand with 10 large format outlets, that has 2 area managers, 1 operations head and 1 CEO.
Total 'user ids' required on PeakScale:
1 user id per outlet for outlet manager for FOH
1 user id per outlet for head chef for BOH
1 user id per area manager
1 user id for operations head
1 user id for CEO
Total Users = 24

Assume a quality team with 3 quality auditors, 1 quality head and 1 production head.
Total 'user ids' required on PeakScale:
1 user id per quality auditor
1 user id for quality head
1 user id for production head
Total Users = 5
When and how will I be billed?
Depending on whether you have selected a monthly plan or an annual plan, you will be billed once every month (at the start of the month) or once every twelve months (at the start of the twelve months).
You only get billed for the number of active users on PeakScale. Deactivated users do not count towards billing.
Can I activate or deactivate users at any time?
Yes. You can activate or deactivate users at any time. When you update your subscription, the change will take effect immediately, and a pro-rated charge or credit will be applied to your account.
How many devices can I configure?
We do not charge per device. You can configure as many devices as you want.
Is there a setup fee?
There is usually no setup fee when you onboard your users and data yourself. However, incase of assisted onboarding, we charge a one-time setup fee starting $99 onwards.
Are any taxes levied on the billing?
No, we do not levy any additional government taxes on the billing.
Are volume discounts available?
Yes, volume discounts are available when the number of users is more than 100. Please contact us for the same.
What is the cancelation and refund policy?
You can cancel anytime before the start of your next term. Incase of monthly plans, that means before the start of your next month. And incase of annual plans, that means before the start of your next year.
We will be unable to issue any refunds. However, for annual plans, we will issue a pro-rated credit note for the remaining duration of the term.
